Just wanted to pop back in to my old home and see what's going on with folks.
I just got back from an awesome 10 mile Time Trial where I set myself a target of beating my fastest ever time set on my 8.7kg Cannondale CAAD 12, pleased to say the Banana didn't disappoint as it smoked the CAAD 12
Here's some pics of her from today, had to reduce IQ a lot to upload but you get the idea.
Still not paid off my credit card's' from this build but do I regret it? … Not a chance
Couple of marks on it from a frame top tube bag I used and the expensive lacquer has peeled off in one part, but way I see it is, use it, get mega fit, year or two from now, have it acid stripped and just paint it again, reassemble and every couple of years give it a fresh lick of paint
I'm tempted with an old skool Trek Lance replica, even tempted to get the USPS jersey. I couldn't care what folks think of him, I think he's the daddy meself and I'm sure a retro Lance rep would be good for an additional 25w on the open road.
I'll be sure to check in from time to time until I announce my next purchase and bike building journey.
