Baltic Bawbags in March?

My diary is looking pretty empty for March. Any interest in doing a Baltic Bawbags ride at Dunkeld this year.
Used to be one of our best attended rides but last few editions have been pretty small and we didn't do it at all last year.

For those with bad memories or who have never been, it's our winter meet with a loop of Loch Ordie and Mill Dam. Distance and route to match abilities and weather conditions on the day. Mainly Landrover track, with some fun tricky singletrack thrown in at the end when we are all nice and tired.

Yes, I do have a bad memory.
Of that ride 3 year ago.
Pushing yer bike uphill, in the snaw, is bad enough but actually getting to top and then having to push it downhill because the snaw is too deep and wet to ride the bike, feck naw. Nae wonder a wee lie down was required every now and again.
I've torn the March page out of my diary...

March is fully booked for me mate………..got a stag, London weekend, Shona away on hen, gig in Edinburgh and a cards night with lads all on different weekends

Oh but I may be planning a sneaky thurs-Saturday road trip to Aviemore to collect my e-bike if you fancy a meet up. Waiting on delivery date at present.

Think we should rename it mildly steamy bawbags and do it in April when there is at least some chance it won’t be soaking, cold, muddy …all of the above.

What you on about? You’re starting to sound like OCP. The last one was great. Was just a bit of snow. It was better than the year it was just me, Kaiser and his mate. Half the tracks were sheet ice that year. At least snow is grippy.

TBH, there’s been no interest in it anyway, so I don’t think there’s much point.
