just found out that im a ball bearing short of a full hubs worth.

Tell us something we don't know


3/16th is what youre looking for. Bog standard,easy to come by.
Serviced a black lx front nigh but a couple of months back. Got them from the lbs.

well, turns out i just needed to look a bit harder.
found the missing ball bearing inside the mid section of the hub....
problem solved.

There should be a gap between the bearings?
Should be 9 in a Shimano front IIRC.

10 each side for these, rears are 9 each side.

The grade 25 Shimano will be original shimano bearings, probably stainless steel at xt/xtr level.

Most 'shop' ones are lower quality grade100.

Anyway,thread useless without some pictures, so here's the techy bit.
