Badly listed GT LTS bargain

Admittetly I'm no late LTS expert as i prefer the non curved ones. But wouldn't a 2000 not have the US serial format?

Oh no sorry I meant 1998 lts 2000 they did some ds and xc models but I can’t find the ball burnished in the catalogues with xt/lx specs.

Anyway, I’ve still to check it over for cracks and it’s filthy. It’s got a 6061 sticker with Easton stamps, does have a pea sized ding in the downtube sadly.

Couldn’t resist, I’ve wanted a slightly smaller lts to build with my 97. The Chap rents out garages and this was in one he cleared out recently.

Seatpost is free as well
what is the overall condition of the frame? Looks like a bargain if the frame is good enough to be built up and used...:D

An excellent question.

- Overall dirty and in need of a polish
- A pea shaped ding in the down tube
- Decals are crustier than a tescos baguette the day after buying.
- One rounded bolt on the shock mount.
- Bottom bracket threads and head tube are in good order
- The seatpost came out
- Bushings probably need replacing

So in true retrobike fashion with a “free” frame. Now it’s your job to spend numerous hours sorting it out , and spend about £1500 building it. But if your mrs asks it still is classed as free
