baby blue pearl Colnago Master build

Hi All

just had the pleasure of building this one up for a clubmate, it's a Master from around 92-93 I think. It has been resprayed (not sure who did the work) in a fantastic pearlescent baby blue colour.

convinced him to go for a retro/modern build, so 10 speed campagnolo groupset and neutron ultra wheels, but period bars/stem/saddle etc.

just been on test ride and again I am blown away by just how nice these steel bikes from this era are.

I know being a geezer, that I shouldn't like baby blue bikes, but this, along with a refinished Coppi I've seen recently, look very nice.
Edit; And also now, a De Rosa :roll:

Not sure about carbon, however the chainset looks to have colour -coded stickers

Lovely, wheels are a bit busy on the decal front for a classic build IMO though.

Just my personal choice but i would get a shorter stem and move the saddle back.
