B.o.T.M. November 2007 - Yeti Special

nope not me. I rerely ride this beastie, as its US style, with the front brake on the left, meaning I keep washing out the front all the time grabbing the wrong lever. Hence my wanteds for M950 pods and levers to change the 'handed-ness' over. I'll get around to it eventually. . . ;)

Tuat fro has strange dropouts tho, what model is it? :?

The older Agoura models (84-88 or so) had campy dropouts.

Most all the california models (there were a few more locations than Agoura) have those dropouts and theyre not Campy, but Simplex. Agoura was the last location up until 1991 or so and i think they switched to the plate style (much uglier) dropouts about a year before they moved to Durango. Some of the 89s still had the Simplex dropouts.

Sandboxes that thing is beautiful! (Dont get the comments on the "controversial build" though)

So, whats the deal with entering a bike. Is it too late? Ive got a Yeti or two? Where does one vote? Im a bit lost over here. :)

Oh, and howdy all. First post here.

IMO, its not that controversial... its the same patina as the one tested in MBA ~88?

FB I was misinformed about the dropouts - thanks for the clarification.

patina? It looks brand new? :)

And yes, just like the MBA test bike, even down to the valve caps IIRC. :)Same Cook Bros stem too but I think the MBA bike had an orange or white stem.

edit: or maybe patina has a different meaning over here. :)
