Azonic stem and profile bars question

I have a question for the retro parts people,

i have a stem which is beutifully machined with AZ company on the face plate, is this an early Azonic stem?

also i have a set of Profile Design riser bars, about 2.5 inch i would guess, but carbon, or carbon wrap, but can find no info about such bars ever being made..

anyone any ideas, think i will send an email to profile design and ask them as well.
