Australian Geoff Scott

My Geoff Scott. Bought this frame just recently. Built it up using whatever parts I had spare. Since then, I have stripped and repainted the frame to stop rust from damaging the steel. I took the seat/headtube decals off and they won't stick back on so will try some spray adhesive. I like the Gipiemme wheels on this frame, think they suit it. Couple of before shots in there as well. Doesn't look hugely different, just neater. Geoff Scott is a well respected steel frame builder from Sydney. He has produced high level frames for the olympics and all facets of racing. Tubing is Columbus SL with campag tips/dropouts and BCM lugs and bb shell with his signature spade cutouts.

Re:

Nice. The Shamal knock-offs suit it as does the matching yellow details of rims and bottle cages Cool lugs as well. Is it 1990's era frame w/ Ultegra, 105? can't tell.

A really lovely Gefsco!
Thats a really nicely detailed but understated machine.
I would love to come home and get a new one made now he's back into it.

Group is 9s Shimano. Cranks are 7700DA, Shifters and calipers are 105, rd is 6500 Ultegra and fd is 7400DA. Frame, I think is from late 80s. Geoff wasn't able to confirm without seeing it but Sydney is 900km away.
