Assembly help or diagram for 1994 Stumpjumper headset?

I had this bike shipped to me and can't remember how the headset is supposed to go back together. Is there an exploded diagram of where the C-clip goes and the order of the other components?

i had one of those in a headset i bought before , never used it

never worked out what it was for either ??

The circlip is the last thing to slide onto the steerer after all the other parts of the headset have been fitted.
The idea being that it holds everything together even when the stem is removed.

The first Dia-Compe aheadsets included them, but it was quickly realised that it wasn't really necessary.

yea forget the c clip just use the topcap for compression
