Are XTR M900 cranks and middleburn rings compatible?

Just posted this on singletrack but thought I'd be better off here.

I've just purchased some middleburn rings for my m900 cranks but they don't seem to fit well at all. The BCD is right but the anti-jam pin is too long and digs into the crank. The middle ring seems too thick meaning the granny ring sits against it. Looks like I need a spacer for the granny ring and just take a file to the anti-jam pin but it just doesn't seem right.

If anybody could enlighten me before I contact Middleburn on Tuesday I'd be grateful. Thanks.

There are spacers on the granny already ?

I assume these are the modern thick rings and not the older skinny rings

Yes they are the modern thick rings, so it could be that. Think I might send them back and look for some originals
