Bike of The Month

Look like me and Peachy have both had a trip back to '89!

Well, seeing Peachy and Jimi911 have both entered and it seemed like every month I entered last year, these guys were both in....I might as well join the party too! ;) šŸ˜‚

Here's my 1989 Specialized Stumpjumper Comp as my entry.

Build thread here...

boy"O"boy's 1989 Specialized Stumpjumper Comp.

Cheers all.
As soon as I saw this finished I had a sinking feeling.... I'll get me coat! 😭:LOL:

I only ever seem to enter when Peachy!, Jimi911 and boy"O"boy have entered - so I'd better wrap the latest build-up in the next few days it seems 🤣

ooo oooh …. look at those IRD forks!!!! And the polished ti…. drool now drenching the table.....that's The One....

And the thing is, I raced on one of those. The ride is sublime, the top tube a sensibly long length and the weight...oh the weight. Or lack of it.

you suggested the IRD forks right at the beginning of the build so I went the whole hog and got brakes and post too!!

That's probably the highest concentration of original IRD in one place since they were in the factory together … IRD seems thinly distributed over the world.....
