im sure i recall seeing that colour scheme on a Richter 8.0,the one with the Mag 20's?

Yeah – Def '92. The main tube on the earlier stems wasn't quite so squashed. Karakoram or lower as the higher spec bikes had flip-flop stems.

All points to a '92 Tequesta – though I remember that paint job being used in previous years too (outpost in '91 if I recall, wrong shape to stem though) and I have a sneaky feeling it was on the Richter 8.0 as an option the following year (and that would have been a flip-flop too I expect)

I'll side with everyone else and go with the Tequesta too (after all that)
