Anyone running canti's on RC31's?

Most I've seen have been with discs or V's - any pics of what they look like with canti's?

What's best - a stem with a noodle, or a hanger from the headset?

Not done it but it would be fine.

I don't think there's any preference between a stem with a noodle or a hanger in terms of function although I'm not sure if you can get ahead stems with a noodle so it may be a hanger by default. Will need a few spacers between hanger and stem so that the cable has enough room although if you get a hanger with one of those little metal pipes that you can swivel to either side then spacers are not an issue. I hope that makes sense, can probably sort out a photo of the pipe hanger thingy if needed.

Oh, and I think there is a Force 40 style Power Hanger that works without a hanger or noodle being necessary, think I've got a spare NOS one somewhere

Problem would be mounting the thing, no? You'd have to drill the crown...

Check my Ritchey SoftTail on reader´s bikes, it has a cable hanger that fits on the headset and M900 cantis...

Hope this helps...

Thanks Victor - that is one sweet bike.

I love the wheels.

It's a long stretch of cable down from the hanger to the straddle wire, but it doesn't look too bad.

Brake works ok, even with such a long cable.

The pic is from the day i got the bike, green DT hubs are going to a White/green bike with more green parts.

Thank´s. ;) ;)
