I've seen this listed locally and thought it might do for the missus (and I might sneakily take the forks for one of my bikes)

I can't help with id, but I don't think it looks a bad frame, parts don't look too bad either, wife worthy for sure unless she's a bike nut (looks like LX rear mech which isn't too shabby).

The gusset on the down tube looks familiar and could help id. Voodoo?

Thanks ishaw. The missus hardly rides and this looks lighter than her current bike (which is a step up from a BSO, but not much of one). I'd spotted what looked like deore LX too - and there's a front picture where it seems to have FSA finishing kit. But annoyingly no head tube badge. All of which suggests it might not be too shabby - and if it turns out she won't ride it, then I have a bunch of spares.

Picked it up today. The guy was out so said I could check it out myself in his back garden and help myself if I wanted it. Left him some cash in his letter box.

Interesting bike. Very light - clearly been optimised for commuting. Carbon mosso forks, Deore LX rear mech/levers/shifers, nexus front mech, avid 7 v brakes. Mix of Kooka and FSA finishing kit. Gonna take a little fettling to get it rolling.

Seems to be a Gedibikes Rush Hour judging by the stickers.

I've had a set of alloy Mosso forks in the past and they were nice and light, I'd gladly have another set!
