Anyone know Ken Legge? (Rocky Mountain content)

As far as I can tell, he welded for Rocky Mountain but also made his own brand, most being road bikes. I picked this up for $60, I figure maybe the tires alone are worth that. Full Suntour X-1 groupset. Very little information on the internet, anyone know more? Thanks. Sorry for the bad pics, it's cold out and the wind is gusting.

nice score. i can't help you infowise. but certainly worth what you paid for it. don't you love getting cheap deals.
intersting fork on it. can't see the dropouts but it looks very nishiki-ish.
it's a straight fork that tapers to the dropouts isn't it?

Is there a serial number on there, looks like a Rocky. But see if you can find him or ask dekerf, he'll probably have known him in that (looking at the bike) era.

No, it's not my size. I might take it down to the Rocky Mountain store and see if they want another display piece. Bit of a time capsule this one. Unless someone here makes me an offer, happy to pass along a deal. I can't find the serial number. Note the strange cable routing though, one cable is running the down tube right underneath it, not to one side like I usually see. Or is that a Rocky Mountain thing?

I had a close look at the forks and there's no marking or designations.

look closely on the bottom of the BB shell for a serial number. If there is one of those Shimano plastic cable routing things then it might be under there.

If you find a serial... and even if you don't, it would be worth your while to call Chris Dekerf to see what he knows. This frame looks vaguely similar to my RekTek which was welded by Dekerf. He also did a lot of ORTs from the late 80's early 90s, and he has kept all his frame building notebooks.
