I lived in Normandy (Cherbourg) on my year abroad (French degree y'know) in 89-90 and bought my first MTB to ride out to these kind of places.
Another place worth visiting is the Fort du Roulé and of course Point du Hoc. I was there for 9 months and there was still stuff I missed.Seems like plenty of new attractions too.
