Anyone got MTB Pro Aug 95? Mtn Goat Joule test help wanted

Some time way back in 95 or maybe 96, my Mountain Goat Joule was tested in (I'm pretty sure) MTB Pro. I think it was MTB Pro because it definitely wasn't MBUK and I don't think MBR was around then?

If anyone can locate the test, I'd really appreciate a pdf or jpg scan of it.

Thanks,
Rich.

Was MTB pro the one that only lasted a couple of issues? I think I've got 2 somewhere, the other around at that time was MBI.

MTB Pro, August 1995, First Rides test

I was working as an occasional 'Saturday boy' for sShokwave at the time and they imported the Joule frame and sent it off for review. I sold my Pine Mountain to my brother (who promptly wrecked it) and used the proceeds to buy the Joule.

A few months afterwards, a bloke who had read the MTB Pro article saw the bike being ridden into KwikSave car park by local toerag and called the police. I bought it back from the Insurance company and I still have it today.

In the meantime, I had used the insurance money from the Joule to buy a Voodoo Canzo which I eventually snapped in half on a BMX track in Worksop (too much ambition, not enough talent!) and replaced it with the Santa Cruz Bullit that I still have today. I suppose that might be considered 'retro' with its Marzocchi Mr T triple clamps and XTR v-brakes...

I always remember seeing a Mountain Goat in an early 90s magazine that looked gorgeous, I think it was light blue and maroon, it had wishbone seat stays, looked so classy.

That was (if I'm thinking of the same magazine article) a test of the bikes in Greece. They belonged to the guys who were the sShokwave race team and it was done just as sShokwave were setting up their Greece holidays. More of an advert for the holiday than a bike test, but it's a great place to ride and the bikes were great too. The other common 'team' colour was green & orange. My Joule is dark pearl blue.

Someone's helpfully scanned the actual test of the WTRs in Greece into the Gallery. MBUK tests - Superbikes in Greece.
