Just colour match to the bike itself.
I've sprayed various in different 'bronze and golds' for a bit of fun from Aldi/lidl to b&m/wickes/focus* cans I picked up, maybe even a Boyes can too.
Sod the gold or bronze colour.
Or go later 1995+ style and choose nickelite.. (JudyXC colour)
I can't remember which was best though.
* the building changed companies during the years, but the layout and sprays stayed the same. It's now a b&m.
