Anyone from Baisingstoke????

My brother is going to be in Basingstoke from Aberdeen for three weeks while his wife undergoes surgery as part of cancer treatment, he is hoping to buy a reliable runabout for Thule he is there to save using car/taxi/bus looking to spend about £60 as its only for three weeks then he will look to sell/pass it on
Only requirements:
Reliable
Some gears (that work)
Serviceable brakes
Decent tyres
Size 17.5 - 21 will do just fine!!!!
He is pretty clueless so really need something ready to ride!

Hi, I might be able to help. i'm about 30 mins from Basingstoke and i've got an old Kona in reasonable nick that he can borrow provided i can find out which mate i lent it too last. What date and will he need a lock, lights etc? Nick
