Anyone else gone ALL RETRO ?

Yeps, all retro here too. Newest is my 1996 S-Works M2 Team, oldest my 1989 Merlin Titanium.

Had a Scott Scale in 2005/2006, Scale 20 when it just came out that year. Buttload of money spent, upgraded the whole thing to X.0, carbon components and Ti pedals... ended up selling it late 2006 for only a fraction of what I spent :-( While it was a great bike, disc brakes are just not my thing... couldn't get used to it.

So now I have about 9 retro bikes to choose from :D

I'd only ever ridden retro until this year...but I bought a 4 year old Trek Fuel EX9 a few months ago
That lives outside though, while my Overburys and Jamis live inside with me :D

B*LL*CKS !

Spoke too soon, the numpty who bought my carrera is sending it back because its apprently developed several invisible faults which weren't there when I posted it !!!!

So I've gone UN-Retro.

To buck the trend a little I still have my 2005 orange 5 and I still love it. I love the exhilaration of barrelling down a hill as fast as the bike will take me, regardless of the skill involved! A feeling different to the satisfaction of riding fast (but not as fast) on my fully rigid Overburys!

That being said it hasn't been ridden in over 12 months
