Dont buy Zildjian sticks, they'll break after 5 mins. Vic Firth have always served me well. Other good givt ideas are a torq ratchet for tuning the skins, or some moon gell for dampening the sound, both cheap but very usable

Sorry meant to say Torque ratchet. Ive been eating too many enery bars!

I play drums,best thing apart from the sticks is a limpet rubber practice pad
