Any retro gamers?

Any fans of Elite, might like to download Oolite. Its the same game but with uprated graphics, but you can download all manner of add ons that give superbly rendered planets and deep space pirate stations and mining stations and stuff. Totally awesome updating of Elite, but keeping all the spirit and features on the original game.

I'm still hunting the Constrictor in Galaxy 2.

Still have my Atari Lynx somewhere :D

will check out oolite though, loved Elite on the speccy although it always seemed a bit... scary :? :D

Lol man, this site is retro tastic! I moderate over at Sega Saturn UK and subscribe to Retrogamer magazine. And now retro bikes. This is a golden age :)

My nephew got me a Megadrive last Christmas  Got the classics such as Sonic, Megalomania, Streets of Rage 2, Sensi Soccer

Don't use it that much though 'cos I'd forgotten how pants the connection was without scart and I've got the Megadrive Collection on my PS3

Think my Amiga is lurking at my Mums somewhere.

I was just thinking of Elite - love it on a PC Spectrum emulator...all that massive hardware doing nothing...

Yes, Oolite's a very good remake of the original...

Oh it is, its fantastic, as for me, a lot of retro games don't hold me for very long having played stuff like HL2 and BFBC2 etc.

Unfortunately, you can't go in the hoopy casinos on Lave.
