@sooper8 Jem is this a Viscount?

Features look very much like the viscount Sebring I had as a teenager
Forks look like the same
Seat cluster was similar
Even though it was a mediocre frame, it had a mech hanger
Lugged frame with a lugless bottom bracket.

Very much appreciate the info on the bike , was very interested in finding out some info as the bike had been completely stripped of any decals . Thanks .

Just to add my viscount had eyelets on the rear dropouts also. So either this isn't a viscount or someone sawn em off

Thanks for the extra info , bike doesn’t show any signs of eyelets removed which I also found strange .

Sorry for delay...I just changed my mind from 'no' to 'dont know' - not much help here was I? If it was someone on the Viscount forum would be able to say, so feel free to go over and ask there, they have some proper experts

drive side dropout appears as if it may have been repaired

since fork ends and dropouts do not match it could be that fork is a replacement...or it could be that dropouts are not original
