Rockshox shock unit - so reasonable quality there

Four bar linkages - looks kind of like a Giant - till you get to the shock placement and rocker which is 90 degrees out of place.

Dunnow!

any closer picks of the removable drop out ?

Looks from a distance like an A-Pro dropout (so A-Pro made frame) as used by Marin, Orange, Park-Pre, KHS etc... BiTD

but then mine have A-Pro not a logo on them.

looks a bit like those shogun frames that were in my lbs for £110 a few years ago

as promised pics of the drop out
frame number A805B00062

serial starts with A-Pro Axxx they use and 8 could be 1998 or 2008 made frame (could be year later model as 5 maybe = May and may or may not be late enough for next years model)

No idea other than that.

i have been pointed in the direction of a 97/98 mtrax
AlexMtrax has a post in pre 98 bikes, these were made by A-PRO as well

vernon barker has confirmed he did not make the frame, and am waiting to confirm if it was bought in after vernon had retired for the first time

still looking for info

cheers
tony
