Any suggestions as to what this might be?
Hand painted bike that set me back £15. Investigations suggest it may be a late-70s Mercian Olympic. Perhaps not.
Has been fitted with early 90s Shimano 1055 Shifters, with a 6-speed freewheel, and a 1055 brakeset. The front derailleur is Campagnolo as are the hubs. Rear spacing is 126mm. The SR Laparade seatpin is dated 1978.
There does not appear to be a serial number on the bottom bracket shell and haven't gotten round to removing the fork yet.
