Advertised as ‘gt palisades’ and I’m not guru but wasn’t palisades Marin not GT?

I can’t find any images of the same shape frame online for GT

It’s a 7000 series one from 98 onwards. Likely a tempest but they are same frame. It’s been ages for sale. Rare size through

Decent frame? Or run of the mill rubbish?

After something cheap just to knock about to/from work.

I think any GT 7000 frame is decent to be honest. Not collectible or valuable but as a bike you won’t go wrong.

Its a very small frame size so not sure if brochures will show the kinked top tube. Probably for someone about 5ft tall, not sure how tall you are but could feel quite cramped if you are over about 5ft 6. If it's local, best to pay a visit and have a sit on it.

I've used recently a pretty similar frame for building a new bike for my 10year old boy.

Mine was blasted and anodized, so I also don't know the exact model.
Year should be 1998 and I would guess it was a Tempest, because there had been only a few models in that 12.5" size.

Great for a little rider, also not too long...

Mine needs a 73mm bottom braket.

If you're pretty small or need a decent frame for a small person, go for it!

It’ll be a pass for me then! 5”9 so way too big for it.

Cheers for the prompt replies and sure I’ll be calling upon everyone again soon 😂
