Hello

Right i have a old dirt works monster frame , and it takes those small yellow nylon bushings similar to the old specialized ground control fsr.
These are impossible to replace and B.E.T.D want £75.00 to make a set of 8 new ones , which i think is steep.
Could the frame in anyway be machined so bearings can be pushed in?
Also there are these metal cones which go into the frame above the bottom bracket.
It may cost the same for the work but if i need to replace agian it will only cost a few quid on bearings.
I can take detailed pics and measurments using a vernier caliper.

cheers

buy in bulk

I would imagine that the thinking there is that although one set at £75 sounds expensive, three sets for £100 seems more reasonable and should see you right for a good few years.

Another think to think about if you can't fit deep groove ball bearings in there is to see if you can get shims or reducers made (perhaps by BETD) to take conventional, commonly available metric bushes.
