any drummers in the house ??

That's brilliant, a drummer that steals the show like Kieth Moon and even manages to work in a bit of Pete Townshend "windmilling".

I bet the guitarist hates him. :D

Very nice build Luke, wish I had the time (and room) to build a set like that. I'm afraid it's V-drums for me...don't live in a house with no neighbours!

My neighbours kids wake me up at 5am...... I keep them up 'til 12am.

Ha Ha, good one :D

May unleash my acoustic again when my extension is finished...somehow the Rolands lack that 'feel' you get when playing an acoustic setup, especially the cymbals which don't really swing much on the leccy!

cymbal feel is always a little odd on an electric kit.

But cymbals are mid/high frequency so don't cause neighbors too much bother.

so electric kick snare and toms with real cymbals is a good way to go.

I used to regularly play out with a mixed electro-acoustic set-up running through my mpc1000.

Currently though I'm all about the cajon.

Looks good Luke..heard a lot of people use mixed elctro/acoustic setups.

Time and money always a problem, haven't been able to really get into drumming 100% due to all my other activities, always find it's more of a winter thing as well when conditions get too crap to MTB & skateboard.

Can't really go any further with my Rolands now as I've used the spare trigger output...may have to get a new module and add more percussion in time :D

For me I've found dumming is a lot about the double bass...have been concentrating on that for a while now and it's quite physical :D
