I love old sailing boats, wood especially, the last one I had was
using a sail pattern called a 'Gunter Rig' brilliant :roll:

you can run boat on gas and it is a lot cheaper .

a uni friend used to race one of those very powerfull boats , forgot their name now . an afternoon testing session cost about £1200 . and that was 15 years ago .

Love sailing boats, folks used to have one in the Med so I did a lot of sailing when I was younger.

Looking into getting my qualifications done soon and getting back into it...it's a bit of a neglected passion of mine

Looks like a similar size boat I used to sail out there, weather used to get pretty vicious in the Islands though, got caught out in some pretty bad conditions there more than once!
