Retro Newbie
hi I am new to this so I was just wondering could any one help me with this, I have being around racing bikes all my life but I have never seen one of these , description is anselmo SLX forks and rear triangle are chrome with the word anselmo ingraved into them it has a really tight rear triangle and seat post tube has a cut out similar to more modern bikes , can't find anything any where about this frame so if anyone knows anything about them I would b very grateful

I have just acquired a similar bike. It is a Columbus Air frame and fits the description of your in every other respect. I am shortly going to post some pictures of the bike to try to ascertain its provenance. So far all I have found is that it was probably sold through Cicli Anselmo in Loano in Italy. It may have been made specifically for the shop by one of the major bike builders. It is a quality frame. If you find out any more I'd be interested. I'll keep you posted also.

Unfortunately, I saw no photos to help you out so adding some of my Anselmo frame made by "Vanni" Losa. He built for his own brand and built many other top level frames for shops and larger bike manufacturers (i.e. Cinelli, Motta, Rossin, Magni). I have many Losa frames, none bearing his name as the brand. His marks are fairly distinctive regarding lug and BB shell fenetrations. I assume Anselmo frames were made by more then one artisan builder.

Frame is compact aero design with rear wheel "tucked" tightly behind the concave seat tube section.
