Another very rare frame

Take a look at this frame on Ebay :

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CLASSIC-ROAD- ... 2392126645

Anyone know anything about this one ?

'P. A. Lewendon'
'Paroyal Cycles'
Western Avenue, London W5'
.

Was this built in-house, or was it bought in and then the shop put on their own (distinctive) transfers ?

Either way, I've never heard of P. A. Lewendon or Paroyal Cycles.

Wouldn't be easy to find new decals/transfers.

Although I'm not interested in acquiring this frame, I do find it fascinating to read of the history of long-gone shops and frame builders.

think the frame had a front crash - top tube looks slightly bent
fork looks lovely - certainly worth the buy
very clean lugs welding
