Good Morning Everyone
Back in May, I wanted another road bike. I wanted something very unusual and high end. Many of the steel frames I have seen in columbus sp,sx, el but which were too expensive. I chose a very special frame made of a special tubeset the Reynolds 731OS
I didn't wanted a tig welded road frame but either a fillet brazed or lugged frame,my choice went with the CT Wallis.Outstanding condition and high quality tubing,CT Wallis was a reputed frame builder often building road bikes and touring bikes.
A very nice and highly uncommon frame plus it is made of Reynolds tubing.
When the CT wallis arrived and I installed on it dura ace BR 7800 brakes
,
Also appllied rustol preventive treatment in the headset seat tube and bottom bracket.
One of the most important thing is the stem, my choice for the CT Wallis was the legendary ITM Goccia which was proposed in the late 90's to early 00's and used by prestigious bike manufacturers. It adds class to the bike and added height to a bike frame which is smaller than what I ride usually
Back then in the endof january of this year , bought some items today for my CT Wallis which were :
a front Shimano Dura Ace FD 7800 Derailleur
a pair of Mavic which will get Slime self healing tubes and Continental Grand Prix 4 season tires
I have already a set of Mavic Cosmic Expert for it where tires and tubes will get replaced by Slime self healing tubes and Continental Grand Prix 4 season tires
Look PP 357 Pedals
Shimano Dura Ace SP 7400 Seat Post
Not pictured but which were also purchased today a brand new Flite White and Blue Kevar saddle, brand new Shimano Dura Ace BB 7700 Bottom Bracket and a brand new Shimano FC 7700 172.5mm Crankset. One of the most important things were the dura ace sl 7900 shifting levers that I bought finally
CT Wallis got its seat post installed
Dura Ace FD 7800 installed
