Good Evening
Back in February, one of my favorite ebay sellers, the seller who sold me a pair of cosmic carbone wheels and a pair of cxp 30 wheels with 8 speed chorus hubs back then , had a very rare and high quality frame for sale along with its matching seat post for sale. Compared to the others frames I have seen on ebay which were not as nice but more expensive due to import costs and shipping but far less exclusive in terms of tubing, this was priced at beyond bargain price and in very good condition despite some minor paint chips. It is a 1990 Grandis Overmax, the brand itself is very rarely seen, the brand produces today the very same framebut limited to 90 examples only the 90° Anniversario Overmax Classico. I never had an Overmax and this one was marvellously brazed with lugs, Columbus Over-max tubing, heavily customized for Grandis. The tubes of the main triangle are ovalized on one end, but with a circle cross section on the other. They also have a slight cigar shape.
And the seatpost
I received the Grandis, a very light and nice frame in very good condition. I rustproofed it with rustol on the chromed parts as well inside the seat bottom, bracket seat tube, head tube and fork steerer. Repainted the paint chips with white nail finger polish
Already had bought an ITM Goccia stem, an ITM Bar, a Dura Ace 7800 cassette, Dura Ace 7800 Rim Brakes, Dura Ace 7800 Shifters, Dura Ace 7800 Rear and front derailleurs, continental GP 4 seasons tires and slime tubes. I will have it built by my bikeshop.
Have a nice day
Very best regards and stay safe
