Another Marin identification question

Hi.
I've recently acquired an aluminium Marin mtb frame, but am having trouble identifying the model (bizarrely, all the stickers were removed by the previous owner but one).
The frame number is F421ISC074.
From what I've picked up, the '1' is the year (2001?), and the 'C' denotes the size (in this case 17"). I think that of the remaining characters, only the '42' is relevant, and this identifies the model.
Can anyone advise/help?
