Another early 1990s Marin - what year? Look - purple bits!

The bike will get some TLC - a darn good clean is in order when it isn't so flippin cold outside. Also a re-cabling & remove the hideous rear carrier. Those purple bar ends may have to go, don't like them.

This is going to be my main bike as its newer than my current one That means it will also get more road-friendly tyres.

BTW - it only cost me a pub lunch

I like the purple..it's not as though the bar ends are the only bits of purple on the bike

Over the winter I always put that type of rack on..with the infill part, one it acts like a bloody good mudguard during the pants weather and two the rack has panniers for my waterpoofs, spare shoes, sarnies for when i get to work

come summer time the rack comes off

it's also refreshing to see some more marin love on the boards
