I'm sure, if I sat long enough at my local tip, I could build a retrobike from scratch.

Another random visit:

Hope ti glide hubs (broken flange on the front and cracked rear )

Deore chainset (left arm missing, still at bottom of very deep skip)

V-brakes

Dual Pivot calliper

and what looks like Ringle skewers

Oh and a nice stem for my LTS project.

Is that a Cook Bros Skewer on the Hope hub? :shock:

Do you find these parts attached to bikes or are they already broken down into parts for you to neatly remove and photograph?

I'm still struggling to come to terms with this.

Its nigh-on impossible to get into the skips at our local tip.

They are about 12 feet high with access from a platform at the side. I reckon if you fell in it would be like Luke and Princess Leah trying to escape the Death Star

That is a pretty good Haul. Not sure the QR on the hopes is a cook bros, the end cap is the wrong shape.
If you decide to bin the front hub BTW I'd be very interested if you could prise off the serrated axle ends and keep them for me?
