Well, you know how it is with the Japanese, always thinkin out of the box with
innovative ideas that would somehow pose a problem (for this one that is) with spare parts if anything chooses to go wrong, very temptin to try this contraption out for meself actually :wink:

It does look quite pretty the whole bike
 
Non drive side is my favorite. Do you think the chain is thrown off on each revolution by the little bar on the crank, hence the...um flappy thing?

No no no.....that cannot work.
 
Hard to make out, but it looks like it works like a step machine, each leg alternately pushing down, spinning the chainrings? Who knows.

Still don't know why though, might make climbing easier? No, surely not?
