Anodizing

Just remember that the finish of the anodising is only as good as the finish on the frame so if you want a good finish then send it to a polisher first. If you just strip it and send it off then it will come back looking as rough as it went away, just a different colour.

Anodising is the opposite of paint in that paint covers up all evils where as anodising actually amplifies them!

Very much so.

This is something I purposely anodised yesterday. It wasnt polished very well, the dark patches at the top are corrosion. The un-coloured spots are where there is laquer / paint still on the part.
