Caustic soda is your friend :) , but do make sure you wear gloves and a face mask, and plenty of ventilation :)

Have a root around in your cupboards, if you have oven cleaner (which contains causic soda) it'll do.

Of which the active ingredient will likely be caustic soda.

As stated Caustic soda is your friend, but it will stab you in the lungs if you are not carful with it, gloves and good ventilation required.
 
I do it ouside , boil the kettle and and here you go . when parts are black , it is ready .
 
If you cannot find Sodium Hydroxide (aka caustic soda) then look to soap making shops as it's used there.

I suppose you should neutralise it with Citric Acid before you flush it away, but if not you'll clean your drains. :LOL:
 
I've seen Muc off do a pretty good job when left on too long!! :roll:
