and your favourite fork is............?

Can't believe you've got this to two pages and no one has mentioned the Bontrager comp fork.

Rigid:
Bontrager Comp
original Bradbury
IRD
Potts T2
Fat BOI
Funk / Klein box

Sus
Bradbury
Monolith (because it's bonkers...and I like what they were attached to))

Rigid =Pace RC30 (Reynolds version)
Suspension = Pace R36

This, although i'd narrow it by going with the 97/8 Proclass RC36.

I would also say I quite like Fox floats d¬_¬b :oops:

mm, toss up between Girvin Vector forks or Halson Inversion forks! Remember those? Worked upside down!! Shame the elastomers would harden in the winter and soften in the summer!!! Both classics tho!

in terms of suspension (i don't know a lot about rigids) i always liked the old marzocchi Z1 bam forks in orange, loved the colour and the old bolt on style fork brace. I liked the 2001 Z1s as well, they looked cool, shame braces on the new forks looks so nasty.

I really liked the amp f4 i had for too short a time.
One its first outing it suprised me greatly.Tracking was the best ive ever felt,a real confidence booster on the corners,and i was totally blown away by their weight
I've ridden marazocchi ,rockshox[several models],RST,fatties[also nice trackers]
But my fav fork was an Orange alloy fork with the rear facing brake pivots,that came specced to my '98 clockwork :cool: :cool: :cool:

This :cool:

minus the funk/klein box and suspension picks

I would replace the sus picks with the following:
judy sl/fsx with englund aur cartridge replacement kit
&
white bros mid- 90s forks

the hall of fame is: potts and bontrager all over everybody followed by the Fat BOI.
currently vicious, IF and maybe Rody on top of both.
