They're all still fighting though I'd imagine, just a long way from the front page or with a different face or name.

I'm sure Al Qaeda are still pretty active though?

Not that I don't get your point - but that's probably largely influenced by perspective.

I suspect many in the Islam faith may well have a similar, yet reversed, perspective about western, democratic political ideology.

In some ways, political idealogy can be tantamount to religious idealogy - maybe insofar has having a degree of dogma, too...
