Hi think this is actually my first post in the MacRetro section.
I'm in Arbroath, Angus and have been a long time lurker/ occasional poster on RetroBike.
At the moment I only have one ridable retro bike and its my 1992 501 raleigh pioneer Hybrid I've mutated into a drop barred 'Monstercross' (not sure about the name myself) bike, I have a Raleigh Discovery (think its the same frame as a Yukon) I'm slowly building up into something usable and I still have my 1993 Flex stem equipped Carrera Krakatoa (although its pieces atm) and a 94 Marin Hawkhill I use as a commuter.
I have a modern Voodoo hoodoo 26 as well.
I've only just got back into cycling properly after a good few years of a more sedate life (I got Fat )
Also I've been asked to post about the new Angus Cycling Festival by a friend who's organising it, who knows I'm into retro and vintage bicycles he's interested in having a gathering of Retro bikes, as part of it, its still in the early stages of organising, but if theres enough interest there may be a best bike competition, for original, modded etc.
I originally posted about it in the events section but there wasn't much interest so I thought I'd post it here too
The Festivals being held in Forfar, Angus, Scotland on the 13th and 14th of September.
More information here http://www.trailscotland.co.uk/new-cycl ... for-angus/
If you've any interest, ideas or feedback I'd be grateful if you let me know.
Thanks,
Andy
