Hello dear all,
Could you confirm that the little thing so called "Raleigh Rear Brake Hanger - RMS820" (picture attached) can be used on a front fork having v brake mounts for cantilever issue?

Yes, providing the bridge on the sliders has the necessary hole to accept a mounting bolt, and should fit virtually any rigid fork with the hole. I use one on my Alipinestars, no probs.
 
one issue maybe the curvature of the mount as the bridge at the rear is different compared to the crown of the forks. With very old road bikes there was a separate washer but the pic suggests part of the hanger.
