Amp seat tube size?

Damn, just sold a 31.4 post and I have an AMP that I assumed used a 31.6 - Doh!

Is the same true for the B5 with the seperate seat post column, or is the crazy size specific to the welded frames?

And my B3 frame is 31.4 and its ishaws post that will be going in my frame. :shock:

Thanks for all the replys guys.

I had a look, and whilst the seatpost was okay, the inside of the seat-tube was... furry.

With a bit of wet and dry wrapped around an old stantion, I brought it back to aluminium and the seat post slides in and out perfectly. I think it was just oxidised.


31.6 for me!

all in all .2 of a mm could be down to tubing tolerances..

it came and i've always had/used only 31.6mm in my Mongoose Amp/B2

It has and always will be 31.6mm, verified by the owners manual
