Do we have dimensions?
Yes we do, but there's a mixture of Imperial and Metric. You would have thought they would stick to one measurement system but the dimensions are close, so what's right? There are five types;

1. TFM-0810-09
2. TFI-0506-06
3. LFI-0506-06
4. LSI-0506-06
5. TSI-0506-06

(5/16" = 7.9375mm, 3/8" = 9.525mm, 0.562" = 14.2748mm)

All are made from Iglide®; "T" = T500 and "L" = L280, which is the grade of bearing material.

"L280 likes hard shafts (easy ;)). For small radial loads with hard-chromed shafts and/or shafts made of corrosion-resistant steel, iglide® L280 is the best suited iglide® material."

Re:

I need your help...

As you can see my frame doesn't have any decals and Gil doesn't have any on file. Looking on the decals that are on the fork I think I need something like this (below). Does anyone have any brochures, adverts etc. that I could use as a source file?

Also any photos of the decals on the down tube/top tune and seat mast would be great.

Thanks

Gil doesn't have decals for a B4 or is that a B5?
I can take a high res photo of the head tube decal with a scale ruler if that helps.
Does this help? I have them in pdf too.

Re:

It's a B5 and this helps a lot! Thank you.

Gil's decals are a mixture of these but he doesn't have the one with the head and the atoms(?).

Also the frame has this one (below) which is different again. Any ideas? It would be really helpful to know what it's supposed to look like as even this frame is in such bad shape it's really guesswork.

Re:

Next problem :x :x

I wanted to see what the seat post I have looked like on the bike but it didn't fit. It's a 31.6mm so it should do, so I started looking at the inside of the tube and as well as being heavily scored I noticed that someone's cut the top section off (I'm on the left)! Presumably because the original seat post was seized and they made a mess of it when trying to get it out.

Anyone got a spare they want to sell? Not sure how you size it so I'll need some instruction.

I don't have a spare mast, but I can ream yours out to get rid of the scoring and mill a new clamp slot.
That would keep you going until a mast turns up.

All the best,

Re:

If there are probably two different seat mask sizes how do I determine what size I need/want when the top is missing?

Re:

Okay, next question... Is a B4 seat mast the same as a B5's? Just wanting to know if I can widen my search for a donor to frames other than a B5.
