AMP Research F4 BLT Forks - SOLD

Okay, not going to use these so liberating them to a new home..

AMP F4 BLT (long travel ;) ) forks; with a massive 3.25" / 80mm of travel. Actual weight 1,389g on digital scales.
The forks although used, are in very good condition. 1&1/8" Steerer length is cut to 206mm & has star-fangled nut fitted.
The fork has factory-standard fitted Green & Black spring mix (Hard/Medium) designed for riders up to approx 11-stone. These can be swapped out for harder/softer spring mixes to be tuned for rider weight and compression.

These can be fitted with the original AMP disc brakes, or with IS mounts via separate adapters, available if you search long enough..! (there were some repro ones for sale here not so long ago) They're supplied with with v-brake mounts (removable if you wish) or can be fitted with a bolt-in bridge-mounted canti stop.
There are no oil leaks from the dampers, which are functioning well, there is no lateral play in the linkage and no creaks from the bushings, so hopefully they should last a while before needing replacement.

I'm looking for £130 + post to anywhere.
All postage will be at cost so if there's anywhere that's more expensive, or you want DHL priority etc, I'll get a quote!

Re: AMP Research F4 BLT Forks

Looks like to the States the answer is 'a lot'.. Cheapest quote is around $65 (£42).
Paypal is of course welcome, just let me know if the shipping cost is acceptable.

Re: AMP Research F4 BLT Forks

Hiya, could you post the axle to crown length. I suspect these are quite short compared to a 80mm travel fork of more contemporary design...?

Re:

Not so different.. 445mm a2c; comparable with early 2000s SID or Duke, and Magura Ronin 80.

They also have no sag either, so you don't lose height or travel on the front end.

Re: AMP Research F4 BLT Forks

And I am assuming 1 and 1/8th - I'm sure you'd have said if not...

Sorely tempted but not sure my finances can stretch at the moment; Xmas and wotnot. Where are you, I'm also assuming not London?

Re: AMP Research F4 BLT Forks

Yup, steerer 1&1/8th, 100mm dropouts, all pretty much standard I think. I've got the manuals & user guide on pdf too for anyone who needs. I don't know how to add them to the archive here yet..
