AMP Research B4 Mercedes Benz Mountain Bike F3 Medium

This is a very cool AMP Research B4 Mercedes Benz mountain bike. It has the very cool AMP fork. Both the rear shock and fork compress and rebound well. I've seen the Police model bike with the integrated rear rack like this, but this is not branded as a Police bike.

The paint is very nice all around with only typical minor scuffs and scratches from use. There are no dents or cracks. The Shimano drivetrain appears to be original and looks to be in good shape, although nothing special. The Mavic X223 wheels are true and this bike has Amp D1 mechanically actuated hydraulic disc brakes. The brake calipers need servicing and do not work. The front caliper appears to be missing a pin/cotter pin that holds the disc pads in place (pads are included). Despite this the brake parts look good cosmetically and otherwise appear to be complete. It may be an easy fix?

Frame measures: Seat tube (crank center to top of seat collar) = 20.5"; top tube effective (center to center) = 22.5"; standover at mid top tube (at the "M") = 28"; head tube = 3.75".

This bike is begging for an XTR M950 upgrade!
