AMP Question

After 7 months of hunting I've found the F4 BLT fork I'm looking for on the bay. However, two problems. Steerer length and lack of V-brake bosses. This is the carbon legged version so am I right in thinking I can get V mounts for them. Also can I change the steerer to a longer length?

I've tried to contact AMP but no response.

Auction ends in five days so any speedy answers appreciated!

Yep, Brion's your man. He's a star! But I gather he is a busy man and can take a while to reply sometimes. He's a chilled Californian too...

Sorted my rear suspension parts, took a couple of weeks.

I think i still have one of the collars of one of the springs[replaced both with ones that cost a tenner each to make.Stiffened them up some.
Getting replacements are expensive unless you go to an old type engineering workshop
A company that custom winds springs for bikes wanted to charge me £300 to make them both,citing jigs etc etc etc to make costing X amount

After i got the springs from the wee engineers in glasgow[£20 :shock: , i sent the other company an email with a pic and a fair amount of abuse
