Holy thread revival, batman ... I took her out for her first off-road ride at the weekend!
Some bottoming out noises from the shock (I could probably do with a firmer shock, at a svelte 87kg) but all in all a pretty nice ride.
Suspension was a bit more active than I'd like (see above) and the brakes aren't quite up there with the discs of today, but she got up some pretty muddy slopes on tyres with quite a light tread pattern so the active suspension really helped get the grip.
At 24lb the weight is just about spot on.
