AMP B3 Help!

Dirt Disciple
I've been using my AMP daily throughout this dry spring. Fantastic!

With the arrival of warmer weather I have noticed increasing amounts of oil leaking from the rear shock onto the piston... not a major problem.

But after my ride today there was oil sprayed all over the seat stay from the back end of the shock.

I've dismantled the whole assembly, no broken bits, so I am guessing that the heat expansion of the aluminium is revealing worn seals.

Can anyone help me source replacement seals? The shaft seals don't look too easy to remove and fit, any tips?

Thanks!

This should have been posted in the "Chat" section of the forum. Contact Amp Research directly. They still support and carry parts to service and rebuild their products.

Thanks for the advice.

I have sent an email to AMP, but was also wondering if there was anywhere in the UK supplying these parts - ought to be a bit quicker.

Will repost in the Chat section as suggested.

Some of the stuff can probably be found over the counter. However best to confirm with Brion @ Amp Research and he'll be able to give you part specs and part numbers.
